Richmond have offered 6 years deal at 700k a year. Source triple m
Fine by me. We've followed the Geelong model - there's no way that we've made any kind of offer like that without consulting the senior playing group about potentially splashing out for a star. Everyone knows you have to pay overs to get good players across, no one more so than our current players.

Anyone watching the game? How's he looking?

Probably had more touches today than St Kilda have put together, including on school girls.

Seriously, no idea. GWS are beating them easily though, so the more of their players every other team can lure away, the better the AFL will be for it.

Sorry i was driving but triple M said the following Richmond have offered a 6 year deal worth around 700k a year with Norf And Collinglol bither offering 5 year deals.

Yeah I didn't say don't pay it, just that I never take these suppositions as gospel. Imo tho, 700k is too much, but I understand the idea you need to pay a lot to get these players to leave. 600k x 6 years is the go.
I'm sure the club will do it's due diligence, as to what is good value & how long a contract would be required. Also I would imagine that they would speak to our leadership group to get the all clear before they were to proceed in chasing any player that will be put up in the top player salaries at the club.
Also heard that Dangerfield will not be offered more than Selwood at the Cats, to keep the leadership group happy down at the Skilled stadium.

I don't think that's a done deal at all. Last I heard, Collingwood was favourite.

Agreed. I don't know why people think Geelong are a cert. A club on the decline who are reportedly reluctant to offer massive money.

The only benefit of going there for Danger would be the proximity to Moggs Creek, ie. family. But it's an extra, what, hour to the city? Not exactly transcontinental.

We should buy him a helicopter and build a helipad on the house we buy for him (formerly earmarked for Troy Taylor)!:D

Neil Balme basically said Danger will make a lifestyle choice rather than a footballer/money choice from what he understands. Either he goes home now or post career.

Treloar would be my concern with them. Gave the "I don't want to comment on other teams players." Then proceeded to chat about Danger lol
