Tony Brown yesterday signed with the Port Adelaide Magpies.

The 23 year old played 108 games and kicked 62 goals for Saint Kilda between 1995 and 2000 and should be a welcome addition to Ports midfield.

This follows the recent recruiting coup of Ryan O'Conner. Other signings to Port include, Chris Robertson (North Adelaide), Lewis Roberts (NSW U/18) and Jared Ilett (NT).

These are welcome signings to Port Adelaide after the retirement of Brett Chalmers, Simon Tregenza, Troy Bond, Paul Evans, Paul Northeast, Damien Brown. Port has also lost other players to clubs including, Jamie King, Scott Thompson Scott Hahn and Alan Didak while Matthew Ashley will be taking the year off.
