Like the Doublewood 12 yr Balvenie and Aberlour 12yr double cask is nice too. My problem is I can't just have 1 or 2.

Ordered a bottle of four roses small batch the other day. Good stuff, if you like bourbon.

Pweter aberlour is pretty good. Inoffensive, so it is good for people that aren't massive scotch fans.

I have discovered another ball tearer. Dalwhinnie Winters Gold, a splendid drop for members at Dans you can get it for around $80. It's definitely worth a try.

I know it's not a whiskey but this little Ratu spiced rum is a very easy drop to drink and at $50 it really is a case of the more you drink, the more you save!

Time to revisit this thread.

I've moved from the beautiful South West to the pilbara recently. Massive change and while the isolation is refreshing, access to some things can be a problem. As a result the wife bought me a membership to the Whisky Club. Decent first few deliveries. This month is a Texan drop. Pretty dark and a bit of a confusing cocktail of flavors that I wasn't expecting. It's not unenjoyable, but I don't think I'd purchase again.

It's like a completely different country. Suffered through summer, and now have perfect weather for 6 months. Between 25 and 30 every day. Almost needed a jumper the other night.

I have had a couple of drinks of Deveron 12 years single malt watching that shitshow....now just having Glenfiddich 12 year. I have zero idea if they are any good or not haha.
