If the 'Globalists' instead desired free market Liberal Capitalism (which clearly benefits them) wouldn't they be trying to get as many Free Trade agreements as possible in place and increase the amount of disposable income people had (so those people could buy things, get into consumerism, borrow large amounts etc) and support private property ownership and private control of the means of production, which would ultimately benefit the wealthy (the ones earning money off interest and profit from sales).

That's literally the opposite of Socialism.

And if all 'they' are trying to do is to increase the money in your pocket, so you can buy stuff and get a home loan (mortgage)... how does that hurt us?

I think they are likely to mostly be trying to line their own pockets. If they're so concerned about global warming why don't they just ban attendees flying into Davos in private jets? It seems the workers can make the sacrifices but we can use as much resources as we like.

The Universal Basic Income that they are discussing publicly would be pretty close to Socialism. The wealthiest 1% continue to accumulate more and more wealth and the gap between rich and poor continues to escalate. Cheap money has really helped the wealthy in a number of ways, it has provided more opportunity to maximise returns and it has also indebted most workers to a much higher degree, which makes them far more compliant and less likely to strike.

I think at the very least there is more than enough going on at the moment to provide concern and for us all to be mindful of potential future possibilities. With our own RBA publicly announcing they are running a project for the use of CBDC, it is yet another instance of a "conspiracy theory" becoming factual. A digital ID along with a CBDC has the potential for a Government (if they so choose) to absolutely enslave society and we need to be educated on this fact. Now, I know your view is that there is no way our Government would do that, but we shouldn't be giving them the power in the first place. In my view, the corruption is now so blatantly obvious (Liberal, Labor, Greens are all bad) that we should be giving them as little power as possible.
