Happy for Kambosos for copping a TKO (body shot) in the 11th. He wouldn't have wanted to hear the judges scores if it went the distance.

And yeah, not the finest of moments for Moloney in his post fight interview.

Yeah they shouldn't have let him do that other interview in the dressing room either. Better off shutting the heck up, cooling off and seeing where you're at.

And Kambo outclassed unsurprisingly, at least he's trying to fight the elite, something that a lot of other guys aren't doing.

He's already going off on Garcia on twitter so he may get yet another pay day.

Kambosos for as limited as he is has made incredible money out of it. There's much better boxers on 1% of the money he is! Good on him

Loma v Navarette looks likely now, good fight but think we would all prefer Shakur or Tank v Loma...

Most importantly, Fury v Usyk this weekend! Opetaia needs to break this losing streak Aussies are on too, Johnson the only aussie winner dating back to Liam Wilsons loss which feels like a lifetime ago

He's probably leveraged that Lopez win as well as he could have, good on him, I hope he's earned shitloads, he's earnt it.

And yes Fury v Usyk, Fury looks good, I'm going to back him. It's possible I overrate him a bit but if he's in great nick he should be able to do enough.

And yeah Aussies aren't going well recently in their big fights, but they're stepping up and having a crack, would love a few other boxers from the US to do the same (cough cough Crawford cough cough)

I heard he got 8-10 for the first Haney fight, rematch clause so another pay day then yesterday...

I rate Usyk as the most skilled HW but size will matter. I think he gets 'robbed' where many score the fight for him but judges give it to Fury. If Usyk can handle the grappling side of things or stay away from it, or make Fury work without gassing then it's his to lose. Should be a cracker

Bud in for a tough one v Madrimov, I rate him. I've actually put a bet on him already at $5.50

Kambosos always very respectful in defeat aswell
Yep credit where it's due . I've never heard him whinge or made excuses post a fight . Always credits his opponent as being too good on the night .
Not a lot like that these days.
He is a jerk in the build up though 😀

I think hes just very confident and understands the fight business but I think generally he's very respectful.
He's also right to losing to Loma isn't a disgrace in anyway, Lomas a freak and been molded into a machine as a child in Ukraine

Well it must be a lot of pressure when you're headlining a stadium show in your own country, you need to stir s**t up I guess. I think he still remains within lines of decency though, he's not as bad as Mundine was for example.

Is there any chance Kambosos could move up? I don't think he's big enough, he doesn't look big at 135 as it is.

Kambosos apparently had a very ppv buy heavy deal, not much guaranteed. It didnt sell as well as people thought and he may have made as little as 500k

He also owes an ex manager 350k. Not good times if true. Loma locked in a good guaranteed purse

Hopefully makes Usyk mean on Sunday morning! Leave it out of the judges hands...

I'm really confident Usyk will beat him. As long as Usyk can stop Fury from leaning all over him for 12 rounds I think he has more than enough tricks to confuse the hell out of Fury.

I do worry about it going to the cards though. The corrupt Saudis seem to be well aligned with the Fury camp. Turki is not to be trusted. He has an agenda and it's got nothing to do with making the best fights. It's about making the fights that he personally wants to see. And in this light he absolutely wants a Fury win so he can set up Fury v Joshua.

I think Turki so far has been about making the best fights but by merit. This will potentially be a defining moment because yeah, Fury v AJ is the biggest possible fight in boxing right now. The thing is, he isn't motivated by money. All these fights he's done have 100% lost big $ but he doesn't care so I think he's far less corrupt than usual boxing executives...

Fury might look in good shape but years and years of abuse has to take its toll doesn't it?! You can't keep yoyo dieting, alcohol/cocaine binges etc and keep returning in your late 30's with great cardio. His cardio was diminished in recent fights too. No such issues exist with Usyk

Size will be a major factor both length and grappling though. Fury has a good uppercut, I think that's a shot to watch out for here. With any luck Usyk sits him down to get a 10-8 as I think close rounds will go to Fury just looking active/bigger/"controlling". Really looking forward to this one! 830am SA time I think which is perfect. Assuming it runs late as always I'll be up in time for Jai/Briedis

Wow, is that the time you are hearing?

I was going to get up at about 4am as I don't want to miss Opetaia and I don't trust DAZN to get their platform right. I had a previous issue where I went to watch on demand thinking their platform allowed catch up but there was a glitch and it took me straight to the live coverage and gave away the results.

I just go off bet365 time which are usually pretty accurate. If anything it runs later normally but that says 830am atm

A bad weekend for the Maloney boys, both losing.
Andrew packed a sad after losing by split decision. I have not see the fight or any clips, but it appears to some that he was totally robbed. Is this correct?
His sparay about the boxing industry being corrupt, is like preaching the the choir, something we all know.
I wonder if he has just found that out.
Aussie boys have not had a good time of it lately, maybe some are not quite as good as we thought.

I didn't see the fight either but plenty on the boxing forums thought the right guy won. Compubox (FWIW) only gave Maloney two rounds (with one other one level). Most rounds were close but he was just shaded according to pure punch stats. There's always more to the story than numbers but it's not a bad starting point when people cry robbery. They would have scored it 118-111 to Guevara purely on punch stats.

It seems like sour grapes to some extent.
