That's terrible news, he was a great player.

Matthew Westfield - the same guy who knocked down the goal post at the Church Street end at Bellerive during that VFL match a year or so back.

That's a massive shock.

This wasn't the same accident that happened up near Oatlands involving a Toll Tasmania truck and a small car was it? Horrific

TASMANIA'S football fraternity is mourning the loss of one of its most talented young sportsmen.
Matthew Westfield, 26, was killed on Wednesday night when his car and a truck collided on the Midland Highway.
