Getting the DRS and giving each team a review would solve a lot of these problems. There'd be several decisions this year that have been shocking that would be easily fixed with a review.
Yes the umpiring standard needs to be better, but there's more than one way to improve/solve a problem.
It's improvement, which is undoubtedly still a better situation.If you have umpires giving LBWs off leg glances and not out to being smashed on the ankle in front of leg, DRS isn't a solution, it's a band aid.
