In the AFL, the last Fitzroy player to retire was Chris Johnson, while the last player to retire from the Brisbane Bears was Daniel Bradshaw.

Does anyone know the last SANFL players to retire who played for the West Torrens Eagles and Woodville Warriors as single entries prior to the 1990 merger?
Interesting one. Andrew Taylor and Andrew Rogers played well into the 90s

On the last day of June 1984 at Football Park, the last quarter of the game between South Adelaide and Woodville saw a combined aggregate of 21-6 (132) scored, comprising 11-4 (70) by Woodville and 10-2 (62) by South Adelaide; however the Panthers stood 130 points ahead at three-quarter time and went on to reach the second-highest SANFL score in history of 39-16 (250).

Although I knew this match produced a massive aggregate score for some time, it was only today that I realised that the last quarter aggregate was so large!

Is this 21-6 (132) the record SANFL aggregate quarter score? How long did the quarter last with 21 goals scored?

In 1960, North Adelaide and Norwood played 4 times with the highest winning margin being 6 points.
Game 1: Norwood won by 5 points: 11-11 to 9-18.
Game 2: North Adelaide won by 3 points: 11-19 to 12-10
Game 3: Norwood won by 6 points: 11-11 to 10-11
Game 4: (Grand Final): North Adelaide won by 5 points: 14-11 to 13-12

The Adelaide Crows Reserves' team is winless after 10 games so far this season and has copped a few hidings. Given the injury problems of the Crows' AFL team, I wonder if the Adelaide Reserves 2018 side might be the first winless SANFL team since Sturt's infamous 0-22 season in 1995?

Largest SANFL Grand Final crowds since AD and PA both entered the AFL (1997-2018):
44,838 - 1998: Port Adelaide d. Sturt
44,161 - 1997: Norwood d. Port Adelaide
40,355 - 2018: North Adelaide d. Norwood

In the AFL, despite a number of players playing for both the Brisbane Bears and Fitzroy, just two players played for the Bears, Fitzroy and the merged Brisbane Lions - Alistair Lynch and Scott McIvor.

Are there any SANFL players who played for the West Torrens Eagles, the Woodville Warriors and for the merged Woodville-West Torrens Eagles?
