Good get, hopefully he will make all the recruiters rue the fact he wasn't taken in the National Draft. Good luck bud.

Looks like there were really only 2 reputable under 18s left in the draft pool ie Colquhoun and Garlett and we picked the only viable one up :thumbsu:

So many mature agers

Garlett has 12 months to get his arse into gear it seems.

You almost get the feeling that it was an AFL directive to let him slide.
Seems crazy that not one of the 18 teams would take him on and reprogram him within the security of a club environment.

Only seen his highlights package, but this guy seems to fly off half back and delivers long distance. Polar opposite to Ben Jacobs. Happy.

Yep. Don't mind that he is an accumulator at all, or that he plays a little off his man to be the release player. The upside is that from the footage, he seems to receive the ball when he is on the move, running forward and then he backs himself to take some long strides and deliver to space. The difference with Jacobs is that he seems to penetrate with the ball in a forward direction, both by his movement and kicking. Perhaps less capable than Jacobs in the contested stakes and overhead marking.
