Replacing Chromcast basic with Hubbl to improve watching Kayo

I have used Chromecast for several years without issue but the last month or so streaming kayo to my tv which is almost 10 years old has been impossible though streaming other apps from both iPhone and android have been fine. Would replacing my chromecast with Hubbl make any difference as far as streaming Kayo is concerned?
