Cool stuff.
Tried to work out the teams by colours but I could not work out Central Districts accept by elimination.
Bottom left to right. South Adelaide, West Torrens, West Adelaide and Woodville.
Top three, Norwood, glenelg and Port Adelaide.
Middle three, North Adelaide, Sturt and third one I do not identify what type of jumper pattern or colours they are so by process of elimination I guess. Central Districts. Seems like red and white but I thought they had similar colours to Footscray but vertical stripes.

The poor fellow picked up an injury when he played his first game for Collingwood, couldn't play the following week, and was never selected again!:

It is a bit odd that the Spearhead article says "fresh from a successful season with Collingwood" (referring to 1961) when he managed just the one senior game. But fair to say he didn’t have a lot of luck with injury wherever he went! This is from The Age 12 July 1961:
