Another spicy clash against North in a sudden-death final. Kangaroos snuck into this year’s top six to secure a knockout qualifying final berth.

It’ll be the fourth AFLW meeting between the two sides, who’ve developed a strong rivalry since the Roos joined the competition in 2019.

Last time we met, earlier this season, we kept the usually high-scoring side goalless to record a 20-point statement win.

We have made two changes to the side for Saturday's qualifying final against North Melbourne. Lose this and it will be a sad end to our season.

Recalling Kristy Stratton and Maddie Shevlin for the team's historic first home final at Victoria Park.
The pair will replace defender Sophie Casey who will be rested due to concussion, while Aliesha Newman has been omitted for the match.
Erica Fowler has been cleared to play despite injuring her shoulder during last week's game.

Magpie fans will also be excited to see Ash Brazill start in the forward line. The 31-year-old was moved into attack in the final term of last Sunday's match which allowed the Pies to move the ball more quickly and with greater intent.

Newman and Amelia Velardo have been named as the emergencies for Saturday's final.

The game is set to kick off at 3.10pm (AEDT). Watch the game live on Channel Seven or the AFLW app. Tune into Collingwood's AFLW social media channels for updates throughout the match.

NORTH Players to watch

No 7 Ashleigh Riddell
No.25 Jasmine Garner
N0 9 Emma Kearney

Also watch No 2 Daria Bannister, a real tough nut who doesn't mind a punch or two and was reported last time we met and received a reprimand

Brilliant. What a day for it too!

Also, there is a typo in the thread title for the game start time.
Good pick up, changed it. Not sure why I did that maybe hoping North players would read and we would be 10 goals up by then.:)

Absolutely beautiful weather, really looking forward to going because like Molloy says in this article:

..."And everyone wants to beat Collingwood, we're just not a well-liked side, but that's a good thing and I love that."

Good read:

A lot less pressure this week. The pinpoint outside game works a lot better in this environment. Davey's smother set a standard

The Tarni Brown shot on goal was the highlight of the first half.
But seriously, need to lift out of the middle in the second half. Given them a sniff where they shouldn’t have one.

reminds me of the game Thursday night, cruising along only to let the opposition get a sniff through laziness and now you are in a arm wrestle for the next hour.
