I reckon Marshall is second only to Ollie in my sheer delight straight after we picked him on who we have used with our first pick be it 4 or 55 or whatever Doogie was in 2014 since I joined Bigfooty just before the 2004 draft.

Ha! Reckon the Footy Budget used it in every single piece it ran on David Marshall back in the day. Be disappointed if The Tiser don't run with it. It's got Richard Earle written all over it...

I can obviously see the physical similarities but really don't think Marshall is overly similar to Westhoff. Marshall can definitely lead and demand the ball be kicked to him where Westy is more keen to just go to where the ball is kicked

They said the Hoff was a few years away from making an impact when drafted too. Similar in some ways but Marshall looks a stronger marking unit "weight for age". Hopefully can cause some serious distraction for opposition defenders around Dix next year.
