Just wrapped up the VFL game and Majak really impressed me. His ruck work around the ground still needs a bit of work against the bigger bodies but in the centre, he is great. His work around the ground impressed me the most. Clean at ground level, awesome in the air and seems like he can run all day. Those huge bombs from outside 50 show the guy can kick a football also.

Is he ready for senior football, or was this an odd rare game where he stood out?

I'll be disappointed if he doesn't play predominately key forward from now on.

He's very close to arriving.

Would want to be. His rookie listing is up, it's either upgrade, change clubs or scrap heap.

He signed a 1 year extension last year and is guaranteed an upgrade.

Watched him playing in the Foxtel cup grand final, didn't seem that impressive. I wondered what all the fuss was about.
He is certainly a very imposing looking individual though.

Was really impressive today, will play next year most likely up forward/pinch hit in the ruck. He is 195cm so he lacks height to be a specialist ruckman at AFL level. He can leap at the ball in the centre bounces and make up for the height he lacks but around the stoppages he struggles a bit.

Tarrant could be the unlucky one, cannot take a contested mark to save himself. He has had a good year but i can see daw replacing him down the track, much safer pair of hands and more upside to his game.

Would be very very surprised if he ever becomes good enough to become a regular senior contributor. But i have been wrong a million times before so will probably play 200 games.

you can see why north have retained him til now, raw but he has those moments of brilliance that make you think he could be a gun. His goals from outside 50 today were very impressive but his turnover deep in defence and lack of pressure to follow up was as poor an effort as i've seen at VFL level in a long time.

not sure where he would fit into the north side, but he has the attributes to be a good 2nd ruck/fwd. Was very sloppy below his knees today though, is that a regular issue for him?

He's ok, under the right circumstances he could find himself running around in the AFL.
I was impressed with his mark and long goal in the last quarter today, got smashed early thoguh by Orren Stephenson, who was arguably BOG.
Personally I reckon he'd make a decent CHB; good height and mobility, thumping kick, reasonably solid mark.
can't be expected to ruck at AFL level; a 2nd stringer at best, but if he can find a new position I reckon he's got a shot.
Comfortable at VFL level.

I know it's a massive call, but his mark and goal with a minute left in todays match was the closest thing i've seen to Wayne Carey. Flew high for a terrific pack mark, then from 60m on a tight angle, he slots the goal to get his team within 5 points. Amazing.

I guess it highlights how bloody good this guy could be if he can put it all together. I just worry about his off-field discipline issues and his lack of impact over the course of a match.

There also seems to be no future at North, so he should go to any club who will guarantee him gametime in the seniors. Maybe the Gold Coast or GWS?

He would play 2nd ruckman/3rd forward in a mature side.

He's a little bit risky for us at the moment.

If he can iron out the meat and potatoes stuff then look out.

They say a lot of backmen are just forwards or rucks who you can't find a spot for. North should develop him back there. Their backline is a weakness of theirs anyway

Has a lot of weapons. Took a great vertical leap mark and goaled from out side 50 to give Werribee a chance in that last quarter but, Just doesn't have the work rate and polish (at the moment).

Judge him as a third year player first and foremost. Then judge him as a player who is a couple of years in game sense. Then look at where he has played this year and if that translates to AFL footy.

I think the answer is that he has improved each year, his tank even surprised me today, thought at least another pre season before a late year full game. He has played no.1 ruck this year, as stated before, he is definitely not the size for that at AFL level. He is a ferocious tackler and is very good below his knees for a ruckman, solid for an average player.

At AFL he will play a Roughed type role. Would expect by 24 his game sense will be at a level where he could really do some midfield damage as he learns to position better and also work through stoppages better.

Just don't expect Nik Nat, not that type of player.
