All the suggests is that less then 11 clubs are interested. It could be zero.

Yeah yeah, you're very clever. Just like jonathon brown who needs facial reconstructions after training sessions. I reckon he is one more away from Brisbane needing to go after gumbleton themselves :p

Gumby looked his best/ least bad when rucking on Friday.
Any club getting or keeping him would be hoping he'd turn out serviceable. Kepler Bradley like

If he turns out to be as good as vickery I reckon he could be a huge win for a club like Richmond

You want to be reamed even harder than last Friday?? Wow. Masochist.

Gumbleton will never be much chop. Gee, even Hansen has him covered now

Third rounder maybe? Even then, he's still a longshot project player is Gumby

If I was a masochist I would be supporting a club like Richmond that has garnered so much respect and success over the past three decades or so.

Are you being sarcastic about Hansen? Kid is a star - heard he even has champions like Petrie playing a 'decoy' role for him.

Easily impressed, you are. Dear me.
Care to answer my query about Gumby's value? He is approaching Cale Hooker status in terms of Dons fans seeking to offload him. Regrettably, he is one pinger away from concluding his career.

Update: Karnezis rumoured to be on the radar of several Victorian teams, Freo reported to be interested in Gumbleton, Brisbane interested in Silvagni, McPharlin puts contract talks off with Freo until the end of the season, Hawks join race for Toy, Norths McKinley and Warren rumoured to be unhappy with position in club, GWS target Seaby.

They are only unhappy because they know they won't be on our list next year.

Both have had excellent seasons at VFL level, Warren in particular has been excellent coming 2nd in the VFL's goal kicking. Mckinley was in the top 10 too. Would really like to see Warren at another club, really think he would excel if given 10-12 games on the trot.

Uptheguts said that on the 2nd page of this thread on the 8th of this month. he is also a richmond supporter. So I trust him in what he says about his club.
Thanks muchly.
That was a rumour, and is kinda what the thread is about. Gossip, if you like. Apologies, it was a lazy post
As to how Richmond rates Toy, I would defer always to tigs2010. If he says we don't rate him, that's good enough for me. Certainly the manchild issue was a concern even a year ago

Update: Richmond out of race for Cloke, Melbourne have some interest in Gumbleton, Freo interested in Moloney, Clinton Young saying at Hawks, Nahas staying at Richmond, Port interested in Russell, Essendon and North join race for toy.

Cool bananas. Thanks.
Strauss for Gumbleton

Please tell me we wont get Moloney, we already have a number of slow midfielders.

We wants either quick midfielder with good skills or KPF or draft picks.

We've got a worse mid-field than yours and that's saying something so you're not going to get a mid-fielder trade - it'd have to be a draft pick I think.

I don't think Gumbleton will be even traded, he will re-sign as he is well and truely part of the future at our club. That said Strauss (whom I rate) is the worst idea I have seen, we already have too many back flankers and you want to give us another one.

Maybe one of your flankers can become a midfielder as a result... Hibberd?

Gumbleton is an interesting one. Being mentioned that Melbourne interested. Initial thoughts no way. But considering we will have 4 picks in top 25 of draft we can consider trading our 3rd rounder which will be about pick 40.
We are in need of another key forward but his injuries are a massive concern and i wouldn't want to pay too much.

The thing is, Gumby isn't going to leave. The team getting him would have to pay overs.

Hibberd is not a midfielder, neither is Dempsey, as it is we are stacked with flankers, we don't need another one!

Gumbleton's trade value has to be way down, maybe he could do with a change, just like Port tall forward, Daniel Stewart?

Gumbleton -- 24 this year, 197cm 97kg, 28 games, 33 goals

Stewart -- 24 this year, 200cm 93kg, 35 games, 31 goals

I don't see what Warren has to offer at the top level.

He's basically a 6'1 full forward.
Just like Little or Galea or Sautner or whoever else, he's strong enough & good enough to play as a key tall on a succession of skinny kids & fat slow buggers in the ressies, but doesn't have anywhere near the skill level to succeed as a mid-size player (which is what he really is) at the top grade.
He's done.
Same with McKinley.
Edwards will be there in another year or two as well, IMHO.

North are *that much* better off with actual key-sized key targets. Tells a fair tale.

Tell me more about Stewart. What's holding him back? He seems to have got a few games in a row this year, but can't quite break out
I have mild interest and will watch him closely on Sunday. Others zone off him pretty easily, but he looks to have the tools.

As a roll of the dice, I'd prefer him to Gumby
