Iwould take it but, I dont think Freo would go for it. Might have to add something extra as a sweetener. What about Gumbleton for Broughton?

The good folks at the Herald sun footy pages wouldn't exaggerate things, surely? All the suggests is that less then 11 clubs are interested. It could be zero.

Gumby looked his best/ least bad when rucking on Friday.
Any club getting or keeping him would be hoping he'd turn out serviceable. Kepler Bradley like
If he turns out to be as good as vickery I reckon he could be a huge win for a club like Richmond
You want to be reamed even harder than last Friday?? Wow. Masochist.
Gumbleton will never be much chop. Gee, even Hansen has him covered now
Third rounder maybe? Even then, he's still a longshot project player is Gumby
Easily impressed, you are. Dear me.If I was a masochist I would be supporting a club like Richmond that has garnered so much respect and success over the past three decades or so.
Are you being sarcastic about Hansen? Kid is a star - heard he even has champions like Petrie playing a 'decoy' role for him.
Update: Karnezis rumoured to be on the radar of several Victorian teams, Freo reported to be interested in Gumbleton, Brisbane interested in Silvagni, McPharlin puts contract talks off with Freo until the end of the season, Hawks join race for Toy, Norths McKinley and Warren rumoured to be unhappy with position in club, GWS target Seaby.
Thanks muchly.Uptheguts said that on the 2nd page of this thread on the 8th of this month. he is also a richmond supporter. So I trust him in what he says about his club.
Cool bananas. Thanks.Update: Richmond out of race for Cloke, Melbourne have some interest in Gumbleton, Freo interested in Moloney, Clinton Young saying at Hawks, Nahas staying at Richmond, Port interested in Russell, Essendon and North join race for toy.

Strauss for Gumbleton
Ewwwww, no thanks. Why would we want or need Strauss...it is the one position we have a zillion options!
We've got a worse mid-field than yours and that's saying something so you're not going to get a mid-fielder trade - it'd have to be a draft pick I think.
Maybe one of your flankers can become a midfielder as a result... Hibberd?I don't think Gumbleton will be even traded, he will re-sign as he is well and truely part of the future at our club. That said Strauss (whom I rate) is the worst idea I have seen, we already have too many back flankers and you want to give us another one.
The thing is, Gumby isn't going to leave. The team getting him would have to pay overs.Gumbleton is an interesting one. Being mentioned that Melbourne interested. Initial thoughts no way. But considering we will have 4 picks in top 25 of draft we can consider trading our 3rd rounder which will be about pick 40.
We are in need of another key forward but his injuries are a massive concern and i wouldn't want to pay too much.
Yep I reckon thats a pretty good bet to happen... won't hurt the Eagles to let him go either.

I wouldn't trust him to get the day of the week right, myself.Uptheguts said that on the 2nd page of this thread on the 8th of this month. he is also a richmond supporter. So I trust him in what he says about his club.
I don't see what Warren has to offer at the top level. They are only unhappy because they know they won't be on our list next year.
Both have had excellent seasons at VFL level, Warren in particular has been excellent coming 2nd in the VFL's goal kicking. Mckinley was in the top 10 too. Would really like to see Warren at another club, really think he would excel if given 10-12 games on the trot.
Gumbleton's trade value has to be way down, maybe he could do with a change, just like Port tall forward, Daniel Stewart?
Gumbleton -- 24 this year, 197cm 97kg, 28 games, 33 goals
Stewart -- 24 this year, 200cm 93kg, 35 games, 31 goals
