The delisting is very strange. Stocker must have really pissed offand or dissappointed people at Carlton. Any off field issues?

Just dont understand why they wouldnt try and trade him, even for a pick upgrade.

As baffling as how the Eagles let ex pick 13 Brander go for zip after going public and pretty much saying he held no value.

Just weird.

Yeah, even if if they tried to get a late third rounder or something. Never know that could come in handy. I don't know why these sort of flats just get flat out delisted, but there must be a reason.

Obviously toxic amongst the Blues playing group, is Stocker a FIGJAM?

Probably been mentioned, but if you see the footage of him kicking his first AFL goal, barely anyone congratulated him.

I don't understand why we delisted him... Liked him as a player, probably wasn't going to be a superstar but woulda thought he would turn out to be a solid B+ player. Guess he had mental issues, not liked by our other players for some reason...

Got this feeling he will turn it around.

The worst I can recall is Sav Rocca.
Played another 101 games and kicked 234 goals for North.
Bloody Malthouse 😡

That probably supports the theory going around that Stocker didn't have many mates amongst the playing group at Carlton.

I assume this is Carlton trying to set standards…
But surely this is a reflection on the club… and on Voss who has been at the club for 12 months, they obviously feel they don’t have the culture and tools to turn him around.
Sending a kid out with his tail beneath his legs with leaked rumors following him about his professionalism seems totally strange when you compare how the Tigers treat out going players.

Spare us your sanctimonious rubbish. Hardwick literally banged a younger staffer, pissing off the club.

Just because you've had success doesn't mean there haven't been issues within your club. Name the last time there was a scandal involving a Carlton player. Not since Levi was tied up on a boat, leaving his dad to collect him.

this is where you need the right presence at the club working on player development. not just skills, but their fit within the group

Oliver wasn't liked by his teammates early days, and I think it was McCartney that straightened him out.
If bridges are burned, then the delisting makes sense. New surrounds may help, but whoever his new club is would want to sort that out

Trying to find comparisons when we have absolutely no idea about what we are comparing is pointless.

Incorrect, says a lot about the player. There was a reason he drifted in his draft year, just that SOS was blind to it.

He didn't slip. He went where he was projected in the Twomey (afl website) mock.

Apparently he was an arrogant, unprofessional figjam according to several ITK's on our board.

Wouldn't be the first kid in afl to be confident. Not getting around him for his first goal is a poor sign

Malcolm Blight coming on board at the end of 2000 and straight delisting our full back Shane Wakelin for no apparent reason was a mind-boggling one as well.

Played FB for Collingwood for the next 8 years, including the two GF’s against Brisbane, while we had to play a bunch of different guys there because of the hole he left.

That’s a great call.
He was fantastic for us and considers himself a Pie more than a Saint.

Yeah I’m not surprised. Was an unfathomably stupid thing Blight did.

Apparently he ran into Shane at an airport one day some years later and apologised for it.

Undoubtedly cost us in the years to come.

Yet the other Wakelin twin Shane Wakelin, saints got a top 10 pick from Port Adelaide
