Fantastic, relly good injury run (touch wood), shame that 2 of our better midfielders are out but still. Wonder what changed between last season and this season

I have no idea how big a factor it is, but we brought in Brynley Abad this year as a strength and conditioning coach and I believe he was pretty well regarded from his time at the firebirds.

Yeah and I think this brought a big focus on highly individual programs for each player, rather than a more blanket approach. Seems to be working well so far touch wood.

That's awesome. AC joint sprains can be very painful. He was probably winded as well.

There'll be some weakness for the rest of the season and probably post season surgery but his leadership will be a massive boost.

Darcy Gardiner - 4-6 weeks, most likely season;
Tom Bell - Season;
Dayne Beams - sounds like still a couple of weeks; and
Claye Beams - injured foot in NEAFL and will be out for 1-2 weeks.

- Darcy Gardiner - test for this week; definitely right to play next week;
- Claye Beams - available for this week; and
- Ryan Harwood - sounds unlikely for this week due to illness.

- McStay is touch and go for this week (shoulder);
- D. Beams will play out the season and will have surgery on his sore shoulder at season's end; and
- Grewar similar to McStay (shoulder).

- Sam Mayes injured during the Eagles game and may not come up this week; and
- Daniel McStay likely to play this week.

Saw Sam just now with a set of crutches at the coffee shop. Walked out without using them and holding a coffee. Didn't watch the video but looked like an ankle

Berry - no decision has been made yet re whether he'll be ready this week (didn't sound hopeful)
Witherden - should be available this week
Paparone - hopefully will be right this week

Beams surgery this week - will be back running when training resumes
Rockliff surgery in two weeks (shoulder reco) - running when training resumes, no-contact until next year.
Skinner in Melbourne for knee surgery
Lester fine - no concussion
Hipwood was close to playing, no surgery and will be fine.
Zorko still on antibiotics, leg should recover perfectly fine.
Bell & Robbo back running already. Back into training when it resumes
Christensen back in full training (back training with NEAFL. Contact included)
