Not sure if this one's been mentioned or not but i had a book from the Melton bloods premiership season in 1986 in the riddel footy league ( vic ) cant find the book now but i know in one game they kicked 57.20odd.360ish to Lancefields 1.1.7, they also kicked a massive score against Macedon but i cant remember the exact score

But apparently (anecdotal evidence) says that Campbells Creeks 100 goal came against no opposition in the last quarter, apparently it was that dark and there were no lights at the ground that players could hardly see, headlights from cars were being used to light the ground and most of the Primose players left the ground at some stage during the last quarter

Not sure if its true but just a story i heard not long after the event when i was living in Bendigo, not far for Campbells Creek

Not true, i was at the game, there was one motorbike parked down one end of the ground with its light on. It was getting dark but we could still see. No Primrose player had left the ground that i was aware of. If my memory serves me correct i think Primrose kicked their 3 goals in the last quarter. Primrose then complained that the time keepers cheated, but when you kick 25 goals a quarter it's going to be a long game. You have to remember Primrose were being beaten by 40 and 50 goals every week..
