Every single story. No matter how mundane is described as "fascinating".

Worst culprits are Damo , Kane, McLure, Caro, and all the other shit kickers on radio and on the footy newsy podcasts etc.

Really pisses me off.

Verbal Faux Pas, Jargon, Cliches, Boganisms, etc

Journos love using it when their is a scandal/story brewing and they have a bit of background information on said story and they don’t wanna say too much. Damian barrett springs to mind.

But 999/1000 times the story is a nothing and goes nowhere.

They just use the word to hype up a nothing story and because they are all copy cats and none of them have an original brain cell.
