Different ball game in comparison to fev due to dusting being so young. Just stating the obvious
Well lets just assume then that a 22 year old bloke who is one of the most naturally gifted players you'll ever see put himself on the open market and got no interest because the other teams think he's no good. Or we could delude ourselves and say that $600k per year is too much to pay somebody who I has the ability to be the best player in the game.
Just stating the obvious.

whys that, he hates dimma?

Loves Dimma, loves the club, doesn't want to leave. Told GWS all this on Friday.

Yet here we are on Tuesday and he still hasn't signed. Why?

Didn't Tippett tell the whole world he wanted to go back home to QLD last year? Where's he playing now?

Hang on, people are comparing Dusty to Fev?? Surely he's not that much of a tool.

I thought Martin's flaws were well compensated for his talents as a footballer.

Yep it's far more of a worry and a risk if a bloke's still being a dickhead at 28 then if they are at 22.

I wish I could keep up with the pace of this thread but damn too much goes on in here. Just read AFL's article about Dustin being welcome at punt road regardless of recent contract issues.

Interesting what has been said. I still don't think he will sign, nor do I think will he sign with another club for another few weeks. Maybe it's just Dustin being shy, but last night he did not seem sitting comfortable, who knows maybe it could have been the chair, or maybe he was forced to bring another guest because Dan Connors wasn't welcome. Many theories as to why to me he seemed odd.

Loved how Bruce pointed him out of all the players when reading the team brownlow votes.

Some of you are heading quickly for the ignore list.

So he went to the Brownlow and sat on the Richmond table last night because he's leaving and hasn't told he club he's staying.

NOBODY with information has said he is leaving. People with information are saying he is staying and has reached a verbal agreement on an offer.

Obviously lots of little things need to be worked out still in the contract, and are also quite possibly delaying it for another week.

Be patient for once. Just because they haven't INSTANTLY announced he has agreed to stay it doesn't mean anything. ****. Just stop.

Where's your tinfoil hat?

Have you ever seen Dusty look comfortable when there are cameras on him? I personally haven't and I've seen a lot of the kid.

And of course Dan Connors wasn't welcome, do you think Dusty honestly expected that he would be allowed to bring him???? He's not that thick, Jesus.

I'm just playing devil's advocate mate - but by all means feel free to add me to your ignore list rather than whinging and telling me what I should and shouldn't post or speculate about. In fact I implore you to do so.

You're blowing my post way out of proportion and taking it way too serious mate. :{

No, there's no argument. He's not a dickhead.
Must be why clubs are all falling over themselves to sign him as they normally would be with a player of his unquestionable talent and huge potential. Oh wait.....

Point was he should be given more allowance at his age than someone of Fevola's age and is more likely to mature before it's too late.

When we thought Choco was leaving there was hype Dusty would be going with him, now that Leppa's leaving we're hearing the same hysteria. I suppose if Cotch was leaving he'd be joining him too because they were once housemates.

How about - he was at the Richmond table on Brownlow night, so he must be staying with the Tigers! :thumbsu:
