Presuming for a sec that the COAR template only allows for single-colour shoulders, that's a lot easier said than done. Hawks, Kangas, Bombers, Tigers, Eagles, Saints and more... all would need at least minor alteration.

Eh, most teams have had the cut in shoulders in recent times. Can't see it making much of a difference, although I admit the designs would look better without the cut-in shoulders.
- Hawks, Kangas have base colour on shoulders and the stripes start at the shoulder hem
- Eagles have the wings start at the hem
- Tigers and Dons have the sash start at the hem
- Saints use black as the base reaching over the shoulders (admittedly this would be the most problematic one...)

Call me whatever you like but Illustrator is a great tool to have your hands on. In the end the dedication you put into it is 100% worth it.
