Furthermore on this table at the bottom it has us with the dees future 3rd

Also has us with hawks future 4th as you mentioned

I can’t recall if we also kept our own 3rd rounder this year? I know we no longer have our own 4th rounder this year that was traded out also

I think it’s the below atm
R1: NM, Port
R2:
R3: NM?, Dees
R4: Haw

Yes that’s correct, it’s our 3rd rounder.

If you go to the 1st post of the draft thread where GR has put Lore’s spreadsheets, the 3rd tab called Draft Order has all the picks at the start, after the trade period and after the draft.

Can someone explain to me what we ended up doing with the later picks that Port handed over in the JHF trade. Just trying to piece together an overall picture

This is what I worked out from the AFL Draft Wikipedia page:

The later picks that we got in the JHF trade were:
  • pick #40 (from West Coast)
  • pick #43 (from Port Adelaide)
We then used both of those picks in 2 separate trades:
Pick #40 went to Brisbane for Melbourne's 2023 third round pick and pick #63 (which might have been used for Cooper Harvey at pick #56?).
Pick #43 went to Fremantle for Hawthorn's 2023 fourth round pick.

That pick 43 we pretty much threw away as I doubt we use hawks fourth rounder

Perfect, thank you.
