Moving to London & keen to play some footy?
Then the Putney Magpies Aussie Rules Football Club is the place to be in 2012.
The club has three teams that play in the local AFL league in London with a team to suit all levels and abilities.
We understand that people dont come to UK to just play footy and a lot of players cant get to training due to other commitments so we dont in force a high level of commitment. While being competitive on the field, our club is fairly laid back, well suited to footy in London and very social. Its great way to keep fit, have a bit of a laugh with your mates and grab a beer afterwards. Which is what footy is all about...
Season highlights included a Pre-Season Match in Amsterdam and End of season trip to Lagos, Portugal.
