Video of him at training mic'd up for the cameras, video really shows how far he has come in the last few years leadership wise and no small part in his step up into becoming an elite midfielder.
Come a long way from when Cousins had to push him to lead the side out when he was stand in captain and great for the young boys who we have lots of to be having a player of his calibre being so vocal towards them out on track, will really help them learn.

I was just about to say the same thing. His leadership skills seem to have gone through the roof. Maturity looks like it has also increased. I've got a feeling we will see big things from Lids this year. :)

From that article.... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
He was out of contract when Hardwick became coach four years ago and can remember him holding his arms out and asking for a hug when Deledio promised he would stay. He realised that Richmond was where he wanted to be, forever.

Gee I love this bloke... Cotch is certainly technically a better 'classic' footballer but Lids is just a jet, an enigma, a super talent that I wanna watch for another 10 years. :thumbsu: :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Kicked another bag of 3 on the weekend which is more then what you would expect from a midfielder, but nobody will be complaining.

Close to, if not the best in the league on the run from outside 50 for goal. Wouldn't be too many you could mount a case for being better then him.
