I knew it was 'time lapse hold music', but what it made me think of was:

The podcast was a panel footy show. One of the panelists loses it (let's call him DanShog), climbs over the desk, runs up to the camera and starts screaming, swearing and frothing at the mouth........ Suddenly the screen goes all test pattern-y and there's a message 'we're experiencing some technical difficulties, we'll be back shorty'........with that same music.

I guess it's the same as the Blues Brothers; everything is calm, while behind the scenes all hell is breaking loose. Man I love The Blues Brothers.

Shan: It's 78 picks to the National Draft, we've got a full tape, half pack of Preston Market donuts, it's dark out and we're in our underpants.
ODN, Jimmae and Arr0w: HIT IT!

Question for regular listeners.

I tend to go for the high energy starts whereas some other podcasts start in a more subdued fashion. Do you have a preference?
There is a difference???

As long as the content is good, happy for you guys to do whatever the hell takes your fancy.

When the content drops off, I will happily give you my opinion
