Best pub for pre-drinks near the G?

Has a great outdoor area, particularly good on a sunny day.

Duke of Wellington, good beers, eye candy and a short walk to the ground.

Also Richmond Club Hotel, upstairs, eye candy yada yada

Corner hotel. Ripper beer garden upstairs, and downstairs is dark and dirty, just like a pub should be.

Nice walk as well through some Richmond back streets to the ground, gives a nice feel to the history of the G.

The Royal is interesting for certain reasons.

Gertude Hotel is great, little bit further away in Fitzroy but the craft beer section is amazing, and its only a 10 min walk to the ground.

The Carringbush in Abbotsford is only three short train stops. A ripper of a pub.

Best close one is the London.
