Title pretty much sums up the aim of the thread.

For me, I can't go past The White Stripes. Seen them 4 times now, twice at festivals and twice on their own, and every single time, just perfection. I really don't know how JW does it.

Other than that I rate Muse, Death Cab for Cutie, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Presets. If any of these bands announced a tour, I would be at the ticket office lined up weeks before they went on sale.

Who are the best bands that y'all have seen live?

Dandy Warhols for just being so laid back, left that concert so chilled and happy, great gig.

Sepultura's classic gig at the Freo Passenger Terminal.

Roger Waters at Glastonbury a few years back.

Napalm Death in Perth.

Pink Floyd at East Freo oval in '88, when I was a kid (first concert).

last 3 gigs i've been to have been the best 3

NOFX @ luna park
Frenzal Rhomb at the Factory
Dropkick Murphys at Roundhouse

Kiss always put on a good show.

Prodigy in around 98 on the Fat Of The Land Tour were Excellent.

whist not a gig, Henry Rollins spoken word is always brilliant.

Seeing the Stones live a couple of times is the stand out highlight of my musical life.

1. Oasis
2. U2
3. The Mars Volta(dont even like them, but they were sick live)

1. U2 - Rattle n' hum tour 1989 - Tennis centre - amazing!!!

2. Weezer THe Palace 1996, Only played for an hour but the place went off..

3. Fountains of Wayne -1998? Prince of wales..great band live

4. Ian Brown - Forum 2005 - Never saw the Stone Roses live but this was definately the next best thing -

5. Transvision Vamp - The metro - 1989, they brought the hisue down - awesome!!

Rise Against
Butterfly Effect are always good.
John Butler is also great live.

Coldplay at the Big Day Out going back a few years now were by far the worst and most boring.

chili peppers april 10 this year!!!!

i'd imagine the living end and jbt would be good live just from wat i have seen

Wilco at Metro's in Freo earlier this year
U2 in front of 60-70,000 at Footy Park in Adelaide last year (especially considering I was about five metres away from the very front of the stage)
Eric Clapton and the band he bought out on his latest tour kicked major a**
Radiohead - OK Computer Tour (Bends tour wasn't too shabby either)
The Stooges - BDO 2006
Beasts of Bourbon - BDO 1997 & 2006 (That 1997 BDO was supposedly the 'last ever' and the Beasts played the last set of the night on a side stage. Huge.)

Worst

Chilli Peppers - One Hot Minute tour. Abysmal
Soundgarden - BDO 1997 (Band was falling apart - turned out to be their 3rd last gig ever)
