Brutal expectations.

The game seems basically dead, which for a BF game seems insane after only being out for less than a year.
It’s far from dead. I’m on every night and there’s plenty still playing it.

All the hating on it seems a bit over the top now, considering pretty much every BF game of the last 10 years has had its problems.

EA must be kicking themselves for not delaying this.

I don't mind how it plays but there are a ton of issues and the player base is dying much faster than I expected.
 
Battlefield 1 was so incredible (I still play it today) so to see this occur is a bit disappointing.

LOVE BF1
Played BF5 for a while, but went back to 1.
Played BF2042 for a little, went back to 1.

Gameplay, sound, and visuals are outstanding. Hopefully it's not the last great BF title.

Luckily we have 2 decent local servers. Can get a game every night if you wanted to.

Don't like my chances but have put in a refund request after today's announcement that the first season isn't starting til some time in the US Summer. Really I don't care but if there is a chance I'll get my 150 bucks back I'll give it a go.

Always love free skins that I'd never use or see.

Funnily the new skin is pretty good and kinda what was expected as a normal style for the game. Maybe a move in the right direction.
I was also going to try and get a refund but figured through Sony it's no chance.

EA are working hard on updating the game and resolving issues. Since launch they’ve made a number of service updates that have improved server performance as well as the vaulting and restoration of content not performing in line with design.

I responded with calling the response average, highlighting that the updates made so far have only increased issues and basic fixes are still not done, adding that the true benefits from purchasing the Ultimate edition are not going to be available until 8+ months after release and that alone is fair grounds for a full refund and that the Australian consumer laws would agree.
 
I didn't get that. I just got an auto response saying thanks for my ticket.

Got that one first, then the response above and then another asking to be rated on how well they did.
