According to the HS he's gone for the season with the shoulder injury he sustained late in the last vs Port Melbourne.

Assuming that's correct, is that it for Mini at the Saints?

I'd say so. If this is his last year of his contract, he'd have to be out of the door at the end of the season.

Unfortunate he couldn't live up to his Round 1 draft pick status, but he seems liked around the club, so it would be sad for them to see him go.

He was obviously highly regarded internally as he got promoted to the leadership group, but his performances in 10/11 haven't been enough to warrant a new contract.

In 2009 he was fairly decent, but to play that role you need to damage the opponent on the scoreboard, which mini couldn't do with any regularity since then. The opponents just don't need to worry about him - which is a damning thing to say.
