bloke was in the top 4 for meters ran and also higest meters gained for the match on both teams, yet people want gim dropped and some statue from the magoos bought in,

i dont think anyone would say his game is complete but sheesh if he is the biggest problem it makes the solution look pretty strange.

Too many sheep listening to the loudest (and dumbest) voice.

Most people here would rather a faux tough man, that occasionally does something physical. Puffs his chest out and pretends, but when required is unwilling to chace, run, or do anything at all that requires any effort.
What the heck?

He choose not to go back with the flight of the ball yesterday and let his opponent have an uncontested mark.

It was a piss weak effort.

No one is asking him to push players around or start fights, just put his head over the ******* ball and not be scared of contact.

Don’t worry noone’s listening to you
For someone who dislikes this kid so much, you have absolutely dominated the conversation in this thread, yet it's only the sheep who listen to you.

your happy to pick out one moment where he could have done better. Excellent. Your happy to ignore him gut running to be an extra man at a contest, or to link up or to break up a forward thrust forward. This isn't 90s football anymore. You can point out that his disposal isn't up to scratch, but he isn't soft. plenty of instances show this. His job isn't to back into packs and get his head knocked off (IMO, it should be no bodies job).

Any lets just fantisise that we were in a position where we had a list decent enough to drop our hardest gut runner .

And it would indeed be some fantasy given our prelim years lists were not even good enough to drop liam Anthony or Sam Gibson who were also somewhat incomplete footballers.

Again his gut busting efforts are what we need as an example to others.

Like Archer he is limited but gives everything from a running perspective and that’s at worst a role player for us and currently a leader doing something at an elite level.

And note I said he shouldn’t be getting a game in lieu of Stephens at the start of the season.

But the kid is authentic and has elite traits in the endurance and running piece right now - and that is important on this team.
