The tall, rangy midfielder initially missed out on selection in Vic Country's first game of the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships but responded strongly by playing well enough with the North Ballarat Rebels at TAC Cup level to earn a call-up for Country's last three games. A tidy player with neat disposal and good game sense, his height gives him a point of difference and enables him to be a threat in attack.
