if the blue dont promote him at the end of the year (i think they will) will you cry?
No - but if they do not they should set him adrift to find someone who will or to fade away.

Opening post updated for round 18.

Murphy moves back within only a vote of Chris Judd after polling 7 in the last fortnight to Judd's none.

His 4 goals saw him voted as BOG just in front of Bryce Gibbs, who now moves into 3rd place ahead of Fevola. Has worked his way into form in the second half of the season, polling 14 votes in the last 7 games.

Good to see Stevens play very well on return to pick up 3 votes. Hopefully it isn't a one off but signs of things to come as we approach finals.

Thornton getting some recognition - polled 4 against Collingwood and 2 again on the weekend after going forward to double his career goals tally. I think he's unfairly maligned by some. Still a very important part of our 22.

Armfield picks up his first votes of the season after doing a very good defensive job and providing run from defence.

Opening post updated for round 20. Sure took a while - by far the most votes we've had for the season. Thanks guns.

Murphy's brilliant 33 touches and 3 goal performance sees him move 1 vote ahead of Judd into first. Very, very close going into the last two rounds.

Murphy has now polled in an amazing 15 of 20 matches, ahead of Judd who's polled in 13. His consistency has been remarkable and you'd think it'll hold him in good stead in the club B&F (and AA for that matter but perception will count against him).

Gibbs is in brilliant form of late - he's polled 13 of a possible 15 votes in the last three weeks. His first half of the season was poor by his standards but he and Fev have played a big roll in us winning 6 of our last 7 games.

Hadley polls two after an excellent game through the midfield while Thornton continues playing great footy having polled in four consecutive games now.

Updated for round 21. :thumbsu:

Great to see young Garlett poll his first votes for the season (3) - only to follow it up by being suspended for the week.

Gibbs continues his sensational form of late. His 18 votes in the last month makes it the best four week period of any player this season. Brilliant player who continues to get better and is a clear third.

Fev polls 2 after 7 goals and will finish fourth after next week.

Judd polls 1 to bring him up to 51. Unfortunately for him, Murphy's 4 puts him 4 ahead. Murphy will be tough to beat from here but Judd could still take it out if Murphy polls 0/1 votes and Judd polls 4/5. Will be tough against the Crows.
