I think you'll find seats are a lot more limited than "(almost) anywhere". On the weekend I thought I would check on reserving a seat in the AFL Reserve, and I was surprised that the bottom three levels were sold out! I reserved seats in towards the front of Q19 = awesome view. From the...
Very funny! BUT importantly I recall there was also a version of the ads where its was Norda Melbourne and Footisgray! No idea where the store was in North Melbourne though? Perhaps it predated the Brunswickee store?
Cheers
Nathan, fair enough, BUT in my totally subjective and biased experience of 35 years of going to the footy, including 21 matches so far this season (10 North games, 7 Bulldogs games), and having seen lots of bad behaviour, this was the worst. Just my experience, nothing more.
Glad it was not just me! I probably had my least enjoyable day at the footy ever. Up in level 3, aisle 27, and heaps of Dogs ferals, especially one boofhead who looked like Shrek, accompanied by his mate Donkey. He loved the sound of his own voice, and unfortunately, as the beers mounted up he...
Hi
I echo the sentiments of another poster, i.e. a nothing article about nothing.
Note the two residents quoted are both local current and ex-politicians, and Shanahan doesn't actually say anything critical, just that the concert will need to operate under conditions... well Derr Fred...
Funnily enough, "Benny" from Bjorn Again lives a couple of doors up from me, and would have received one of these letters in his mailbox, so he'd only have to walk a couple of minutes to get to the gig. Unfortunately he is a Hawthorn member , but apart from that he is a very good bloke...
Hi
I can’t see this anywhere else so I’ve retyped a letter that I received in the mail today on North Melbourne letterhead (I live close to Arden St), since I thought a few of you would be very interested…

Dear Householder
As you are probably aware, the North Melbourne...
Hehehe, good one Filth, especially given Deanery's nickname of "the Bible"!
Anyway, I went along with my wife, and my two kids wearing their North scarves. I was wondering whether the scarves were going to be appropriate but they were actually a good ice-breaker. One of the earlier speakers...
Hi
I hope this is the appropriate forum. Mods, please delete if necessary!
I received this via my wife's work and thought I would pass it on in case any North supporters were interested in getting a deeper insight into what makes Daniel Wells tick inside his head.
Cheers.
Tomorrow...
Only got to see the third quarter, so pretty limited review, but for what it's worth... I was up near the North Ballarat forward line.
Aaron Edwards seemed switched on and was running around, but didn't touch it much in the 3rd Q. How did he go in the other quarters?
Corey Jones was making...
Yeah, I still remember that game clearly. I was so fired up for it...even convinced my wife to come along, and we got flogged:( I think we were okay early, and then stopped. That was really disappointing for the fans; the players must have been really gutted. But, that's ancient history...
Hi
Had a look at training yesterday (Australia Day), and even though I wasn't looking out for him, noticed Ziebell. Looked to be one of the most impressive youngsters...seemed fast with a solid body, and direct penetrating kicking. Don't know about getting a run in the NAB cup etc. If...
Hi
Thanks Pres for the minutes. That is really encouraging.
The following link may be of interest to many of you, it has links at the bottom of the page to the development plan and associated reports. Extremely interesting reading...
Yep, got the letter today.
Unfortunately I can't make the vote in person, but I've already filled in the proxy form with JB as proxy, and posted the form this evening. Make every vote count!
Cheers
North in Melbourne.
G’day,
Yesterday I received the latest issue of our community newspaper, North & West Melbourne News, Issue 142, September 2008. I was amazed by the positive coverage of NMFC’s contribution to the local community. This quarterly paper is produced by volunteers, so I couldn’t find any official...
Good summaries by the previous posters. I would have guessed that about 200 were present, but could have been a few more.
Eugene was very impressive. A few questions I think reflected the lingering mistrust of previous administrations, i.e. there is a lot of talk, but what guarantees...
Yep, tomorrow night for me. Decided it was good to hear it straight from the horse's mouth, rather than relying on what the media report.
Should be interesting.
Cheers.
65. At the Roosistence gig when June finished off her polite and passionate speech about what North meant to her by saying F... You Demetriou! and the crowd reaction:)
Hi
I've been lurking here since last year. I found the Board when the relocation saga was happening and it was a great source of information, and positive energy amongst the doomsayers. The Roosistence concert was great too.
Anyway, this thread prompted me to finally sign up to Bigfooty...
