A very special night for me and the family. My son ran out as the mascot with the team.
We spent some time in the rooms before and after the game. Had a quick chat with Jason who said he was grateful for my son running out with him because it gave him something to focus on.

Thanks. Looks like things have changed this week. Other weeks priority 1 went on sale for a couple of hours, then priority 2, then general members, then away members, then general public. Today just looks like nth members, then essendon members, then general public.
Tickets on sale now ..... but I can only seem to get Level 1 behind the goals. Even if I select the level I want to be on, ie level 3, it still gives me level 1 seats. Does anyone know if level 3 will be released? Is that at 3.00pm?
I've been on this board for twenty odd years and bugger me if this isn't the worst post I've ever read. You're over the moon that Richmond won. heckin hell, just unbelievable.
Is it possible he's still got some shoulder issues and he protects it? Watched him closely the last month and theres times he could have accelerated and gone a hard tackle or gone to smother and he hasn't. Would also explain a bit of fumbling.
So to try and summarize the four thousand posts ..... Polec and Hall should get done with the aim of two out of Gaff, Kelly and Wingard? I could live with that.
Lachie's best was fantastic. On his day, that intercept marking was a real asset to the team. Unfortunately couldn't stay at that high level for long enough over his career.
Thanks for your time as a Roo!!! All the best for the future.
Will Ahern be on the long term injury list next year so therefore basically freeing up a spot? So, McKenzie or Tippet could be rookied but then elevated straight away??
anyone remember the Family Picnics back in the mid 70's, now they were laid back. Australian Folk band The Cobbers played at a couple and I think they were out at Brimbank Park, may have been somewhere else, it was a while ago.
There seems to have been a conscious effort to drop weight from a number of players to improve their running. I reckon Petrie, Ziebel and Firrito look leaner. Very different to the days where everyone tried to put on as much muscle over the preseason as possible.
Just my observation, but he didn't seem to be doing full training over the preseason or spend much time in the intra's. He seemed to be on the sidelines alot or just running.
I've witnessed this first hand. A number of my kids friends, local kids with African backgrounds that were new to the area, use to get free tickets to home games from the huddle. Now those kids are late teens, early twenties and are mad North fans with their own memberships.
great way for...
A person with more business focus could possibly look at the Club as a "business" and therefore deduct that its a bad "business decision" to continue in Melbourne. You need a balance of business and passion on the board and while Arch may not have the business experience of others around (he...
Reckon McVeigh should be on the top of that list. Although, funnily he has been a bit quieter the last 12 months.

I first did think it looked a bit strange but he's not the first. (sorry if someone else mentioned this) Wasn't Adam Cooney down in the Hawks room after the GF last year in tears supporting his mate Lake?
I heard an interview with him on MMM, Monday morning. I'm not going to do it justice because I can't think of his exact words or the players involved, but when asked about all the niggle on Sunday night he said something like,
"Yeah that was my fault, player 1 gave me a shove so I hit him...
Just saw this.
"NEW WEST Coast coach Adam Simpson has targeted former teammate Brady Rawlings as one of his first football department appointments after taking charge last week. "
