We need to immediately kill their hope from Q1.
If we have a poor start again we'll be pushing s**t up hill all game
Edit - as if this is our 3rd home game, with only 1 more until June 8th. The desire to go and watch us is just not there despite limited upcoming opportunities
I feel like we're saying this every week though.
Kicking 60 pts a game doesn't give us the clear air to tolerate mistakes like that, which then magnifies the errors and probably ramps up the perceived pressure on the players.
Tbh this feels like 2007/8 era where every week was a slog whilst...
Owens great contested mark
Hill lead up mark
Caminiti great contested mark
2 points to show for it.
We're not s**t, we just never finish off good work
Kick those, we're back in the game after another slow start. But no, 19 points, and we're just a goal or two away from GWS pushing the game...
Since switching to New Balance, specialty merch has been on point :fire::fire:. Can't resist, I'm buying.
(Where's the members Saints shop dissy code btw?)
It's a bit of a fizzer of a start isn't it? I know it's not ideal for the club from $$$ pov but saw the fixture and decided to give AFL membership a go this season because of it.
Back ended home games from Round 16 onwards will be huge for us though running up to finals
It will be upheld. Now that Wright is in the spotlight, it will be both non-sensical and a terrible look for the AFL if King gets off making contact with the head if they want to make an example out of 2M Peter
If this were a prelim, or a Brownlow was on the line - Max would probably get off...
Anesthetizing a concussed patient happens loads in trauma surgery eg. car accident/horse fall
In private healthcare, if the surgeon wants the case done the anaesthetist will generally just do what they're told
Literally came here to say that. Absolutley s**t all over the telecast, with the final excrement mark being the call over the siren, crapping on about Collingwood being 0-3 and Easter Thursday etc. BT had about 6 minutes prior to that to discuss the shock waves of Collingwood being 0-3, there's...
Previously we probably lose by 40+ when the zing went out of the game and Hawkins put them 21 up, so that's a tick
King converting under pressure to bring it down to 1pt, tick
Liam Henry, tick
Jimmy will be made an example of because a) he's a low status GOP b) set the expectation of the upcoming season. 6-8 weeks
I don't agree with my opinion btw, just saying :tearsofjoy:
Assuming our last remaining pick will be father/daughter selection Charlotte Simpson, daughter of Sean Simpson

Not sure what other AFLW clubs are doing, but securing that 2026/2027 group is huge
Wardlaw aside, the groupings and associated contract length is pretty consistent with how you would rank them in terms if importance to the side. Must be a happy joint!
I'd expect Ash Richards to push into that...
Big cut! No real mention of us as yet being interested in anyone, trade opens up tomorrow.
Re: draft, looks a little compromised to me at the top - our first pick comes in at #16
The AFLW podcast was unbelievable!
Basically the summary our game was Brisbane's loss of players during the off season was too much to over come this weekend. I dunno, wanna talk about our young players coming of age? Liv Vesely & T Smith being injury free and playing great football, Patrikios...
Looking at finals spot (crazy to say after how we started the season).
We'd fancy ourselves to beat Carlton next week, leaves us with 24pts.
Alot of movement to happen between us, GC, Collingwood, Richmond, Geelong & Sydney
Probably prefer Richmond to beat Geelong tonight
Would be ideal if...

Not a real live option to offload the entirety of his salary and get a...
Billings would've left for nothing next year anyway, either on the back of another injury riddled year where his value would've been zero, or as an UFA if he managed to produce a year worthy of another clubs interest. Highly doubt we would've extended his contract for anything worth staying for...
