It’s a really interesting point.
It's possible that Longmire lacks a killer instinct which may affect our grand final results, but has the personality that builds a successful club, which is why we find ourselves playing in finals so often.
Just a thought …
One positive.
The media will be truckin in extra supplies of bath water following the Carlton win against the Dee’s.
The question is - are the players as thirsty as their fan base?
My comment is more related to watching him rather than his stats.
He looks exhausted.
I wonder if he is recovering from a bad case of the dreaded C. I know it knocked me down for a while earlier this year even after the symptoms had passed.
He looks exhausted.
Takes ages to get up after being tackled.
I wonder if it makes sense to give him the Dogs game off so that he gets a 2 week break. Bring Parker in and rotate the mids through the forwards.
Whoever put the Hex 😈 on the Freo goal kicking can you please own up now.
It’s ok, you are not in trouble.
Just keep some of those dark arts for the Granny.
If Parker comes in he replaces whichever mid is struggling with niggles. Whether it’s this week or soon, we do need to have a rotation policy to ensure we don’t limp into the finals.
Personally I would triple the weeks off, bring in a red card (you carelessly or purposely knock a guy out you leave the field as well) and get rid of the hundreds of technical head high frees that are a blight on the game.
If Brown knew he risked a red card and months on the sideline, he...
The Mills debate.
We have a pretty solid midfield at the moment with Parker, Sheldrick and Cleary waiting to get in. Assuming no injuries, where does Mills play?
Defence
Midfield
Wing
Forward
If Hayward does go, Mills would make a pretty awesome medium tall. He is a great mark. Smart. Good...
I am under the impression he has already been given a positional change. The last few years he spent a lot of time running back along the wing. This year he is playing closer to goals and I am under the impression that this is where he wants to be.
He is far more dangerous as a result.
I also think Amartey, McLean and Logan need to spend more time developing the dark arts.
Right now we often have multiple players going for the same ball. That’s not going to work against good defenders.
