Yep same when we moved the amount of 4/5 bed houses we missed out on to Victorians the real estate agent told us was alot, every house we were competing against was at least 5 to 6 Victorians families.
The grey brigade aren’t buying houses this size they are down sizing and putting the rest...
You could get out of the state without going into hotel quarantine like mid December in 2020, We made the move with our kids then and didn’t have it quarantine at all.
And I know a lots of other families with young kids who did also.
AFL is growing so fast in Queensland, COVID helped this with all the Victorians moving north, as if the family is playing AFL in Vic they arn’t going to start playing League just because they moved states.
I do agree with you only question I have is does a team that doesn’t have a lot of superstars win more then one flag, or do they just kind of pinch one like the Dogs of 2016.
By winning one then go back to the pack.
But Yes a premiership is a Premiership you take any, just hopefully IF we win...
Why don’t we in all seriousness we seem to rest players for long periods in the hope the injury comes good, then the player has problems for a few years with the same injury.
Roughy was a great player but Dear I think is stronger above his head, even though Roughy was good.
Dear could be more Stuart Lowe,
Nick Holland with how strong a mark he is.
We only needed one more goal and one of those 4 inside entries could have been one, He was the most dangerous forward we had.
So he moved something that was working.
I think this move on the weekend was one of the mistake that was made.
Hardwick should have been left forward as he was playing really well, I’m sure we had another player to play back pocket it was working, what he was doing he should have been left there.
Being only 50 games he will come to us via FS, or he goes into the open draft and could go anywhere which could be Perth.
I think if his good enough is a Hawk.
It wasn’t so much the talent he was questioning, it was more that we drafted someone of his height at such a high pick, when players of that height normally drop down the draft board e.g Caleb Daniel.
Could he become a point of difference in the side, by becoming someone like Bateman, Crawford in this rebuild, someone that runs hard all day and gets into position to be an option for his teammates.
