Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

I really think Bevo’s main weakness is selection. I get tactics and changes influence the match and apparently he is a very good motivator. But as much as I’d like to see Buku succeed, and is young and full of ‘potential’, on Thursday night when I seen Keath’s name I thought good, here is a...

Review Dogs 133 def Tigers 42

Could see this in the very few games he had in 2022 and 2023. Way more potential upside than Poulter and Baker and Scott. Play the kid, looks a natural footballer.

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

It’s one of many reasons why there should be 3 football experts on the board. That is the core reason for the clubs existence, yet there is such lack of real football knowledge and wisdom on our board. When Hawthorn had Dermott and Dunstall on their board it turned out pretty good for them...

    Changes vs Richmond

West comes in for Vandermeer. Probably Bendendo. Maybe then Sanders, who hasn’t really had a good run at it yet, but seems to offer more than him too.

    Changes vs Richmond

Not necessarily, but all those guys have actually had good games before. Especially Kharmis and JUH, but VDM hasn’t had a good game since 2020. He is consistent, that is for sure. It was a week for 5 changes, not just 4. Even Taylor Dureay was lucky to survive, but he has so many credits in the...

    Changes vs Richmond

That was the worst two goal game I’ve ever seen. Vandermeer was horrible but for those two goals last week. He has also been next to horrible each week, with a couple of ok mediocre games. For some reason Bevo sees something will improve in his or he thinks because he can run fast that that...

Sanders for Vanders bumper stickers needed.

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

Which just wastes the rest of this year. He is ‘dead man walking’ now. We are just wasting everyone’s (players, supporters, coaches) time. If the board doesn’t have a vision beyond Bevo they’re being incompetent. That vision needs to start being implemented now, because if we wait to the end of...

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

To become a head coach of a professional football club you’ve already had some degree of success. As in professional sports as a player, anything is a bonus and you have to be realistic about your position in the organisation, no matter how successful you’ve been in the past. As an organisation...

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

For years I’ve been advocating that we went after Callan Ward. Everyone said he was finished, but he just kept going. He would’ve been great in 2021,22,23. I see yesterday the Crows are going after Danger, smart move but probably won’t get him out of Moggs Creek. We know the next club up the...

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

To put Harmes and VDM in the same sentence is a total disrespect for James Harmes. He is a premiership player, and played his role well in that flag year. I also thought he played pretty good on Sunday arvo. He has ‘made it’ as a footballer. I don’t know whether VDM ever will? He has managed to...

Opinion Who Do We Want As Our Next Coach

Buckley as caretaker for rest of season, starting at 7:00 pm tonight. And I don’t know who of the promising assistants out there. But one who is articulate and has the ability to cope with the inevitable pressure.

Coach Do you still have any faith in Bevo? [POLL]

I He really didn’t respond on a macro level either when the league changed the rules a few times. Totally last coach to get ‘no third man up’ and the ‘stand’ rules. He is just so set on things, extremely obstinate and slow.

Autopsy Rd 8: Dogs battle bravely and come up just short against Hawks

Don’t keep playing the same average players if they aren’t contributing.

But why do those who don’t contribute get picked week in week out? They really are no good I agree, give some lads in the reserves a crack. Cleary always does well when he gets a game, and there is a few new recruits knocking the door down too.
