I've just reversed my trade where I was bringing Houston in, I was also planning on getting Zorko after his bye but with a BE of 45 and up against the Tigers and Hawks next 2, he might be a tad eccy come round 13.
Taking a different approach this year and aiming to have 18 premos/Mp's available each week with whatever cover is available via the bench.
Round 12: 13 premos and 5 MP's Bowes/Drew/Sweet/Fyfe/Reid
Round 13: 16 premos and 2 MP's Bowes/Reid
Round 14: 17 premos and 1 MP Fyfe
Round 15: 18 premos
It's very much team dependent, I'm holding Yeo so it makes sense to bring him in as cover, means I miss out on Jones but the cash gen from McKerch should be enough for my purposes. Once Yeo is back he goes to the bench and will be sold to fund 2 luxury upgrades going in to round 13 which will...
I traded Grundy out for him last week which has given me a great boost for my upgrades, but I do agree that he's a huge risk a R2, those that have Jackson (myself included) have that as a fallback option, whether it's trading Jackson and Sweet if things go awry or just fielding Jackson in his...
That's what I've done.
Cadman > Moore
Powell > Fyfe (yes! I know)
Moves Reid to F6 and no more of those pesky rookies on field in the forwards, I'm not classing Reid as a rookie although he's likely to stump up an ordinary score, but TBF so are most of the others.
Depends on who's covering Jackson in the forwards, if it's Garcia/Darcy then Sweet would have to score a 40 to warrant it, if it's Wilson then you'd roll the dice on a 60
Cadman > R Garcia
Darcy > $550k premo (Dawson or Macrae) Prefer Macrae as that would leave Reid at F6. If not then I'll be looping Wison/R Garcia at F6/7 using Livingstone as the donut.
