My post history is there for you to searchDo you pretend you are a virology expert after watching youtube?
I would like to go back to 18 yr old me and tell myself to take the money I was about to pour into a 1972 Charger and buy Microsoft stockI'd go back in time and invest in a mask company and Pfizer.

So how often to you test these performance modifications?
Like putting a Holden v6 into a HRNot often, but it's a kind of a weird question .
The engine itself isn't modified, it's from a heavier, faster, newer car. Same factory, different generation.
I've basically combined 2 cars that were destined for the wreckers. One was rusty, one wasn't running. Same engine platform.
A few more parts sourced from a third car to make it work and pass engineer inspection legally.

Not in WAYes, along those lines.
Not in WA
When someone I know went to licensing about that swap they knocked it back
Stupid thing was they said he could swap in any inline 6
Doubt the realized just how much you can do with an RB26,2JZ or Barra
Might be recentlyI thought WA allowed a lot more mods with cars, has it changed recently?
Might be recently
Years ago small block Chevs were getting put in old Holdens
I sort of guess that as these new higher tech engines started to get transplanted into lighter bodies
WAPOL has tried to put them out of reach
Putting a Coyote or LS into an older car would probably see the car impounded
Unless you are an automotive engineer and had good lawyers
I remember seeing cars in magazines 30+ years agoQLD has all the info available online, it's quite a detailed set of guidelines with what you can do, and what supporting mods you will need.
But yeah each state is different.
