Whatching his highlights, I have to wonder how he was that good and 4 years later a shell of the player from 2014.

I had pretty much no interest in football before 2013 but I started watching Port games in 2013 and Jake and Chad were really what got me hooked. The way they played was so exciting. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then but to lose them both in the same season is really sad. Jakey has had so many great highlights, if only he could've put it all together more often, wish him all the best for the future and might watch a few non port games if he does get picked up.

Always played his best footy on the wing, getting back and providing run and dash of the half back line and through the middle. We persisted using him in a small forward role that didn't suit him...
