Don't know if there's already a thread on this but it has started tonight

Redfoo, Keating and Bassingwaite aren't judges anymore and are replaced by Guy Sebastian, James Blunt and Chris Isaak.
 
Any more singers that you want from the Voice Kids to go through?

I like Maddison, but surely she has had that opportunity....ditto Ethan from that boy band. If you watched the Voice Kids he was the guy that wore the beanie in his audition on the Voice Kids.

I loved Lisa's performance.

I must have been hearing something else...but Natalie was ordinary as anything.
 
Best bit was Chris Isaak shutting down Guy.

Basically, "f@%k yo' commercial radio shit."

Rabbit in the spotlight didn't know what to do.

My 78yo Mum is pissed off RedFoo isn't a judge.

Glad he isn't a jude, even more that Nat isn't there to cheerlead though!
 
the panel is better off this year and i like the friction between the judges at times. they are all articulate and humourous at times. i enjoyed the duo Matt and Jess the best. good start. my mother is rapt Red Foo is missing and presumed lame

Thought they were okay, but only really 'okay'. Not saying they were bad, just I didn't think it was outstanding. I hate that song though.
 
It always amuses me that as much as James Blunt looks like a softee and sings in such a high feminine kind of way, he could kill us all quick with his bare hands if he had to.

great audition but every year we have seen standout auditions not finding the right mentor or lacks versatility to win this sort of theme weeks show. I will save a prediction until about half way through the live shows

Maybe, but seems to have a decent background, and not too young helps versatility. Could easily see her doing a range of songs.

Bare in mind the theme weeks have changed, they are now the US style which means you can stick in your genre much more. Hope they have got rid of Rock week and things like that. Keep the weeks 'broad' so it allows country singers to be country, rock singers to be rock, etc.

Worst audition...the two boys that were hopeless that came back...why again, they are hopeless!
 
That group of 3 14 year olds something Studio wasn't bad considering I haven't liked a group since 3rd Degree. But that was probably a one off song they performed well on Sunday night.

If you have seen the Voice Kids....2 out of the 3 were on that show.

agree that those 2 boys have proven twice to not have the x factor, partly due to confidence issues , so I cant see them getting far and after this shambles of an audition they should not have gone through. the bald guy (aaron taylor) who sang rise like a phoenix was impressive tonight. hope this authentic singer does not get screwed over by the likes of danni like a similar talent in Michael Ross was a couple of years ago

Lets cut to the chase, at this stage the ones they advertise through the roof get through to home visits. So the first and last singers of each night usually get through. Paris Inc and the young boy band from the first night should get through in their category.

Yeah and possible the token gay, male or female solo singer that will end up in a group etc etc.
All predictable but still I think the majority are better this year.

The depth is the best it has been for years this season. There are less rubbish groups getting through too- Nat isn't there to want to 'bone' the cute guys in every group!
 
tonights was less impressive than the other nights and agree with Chris Issak on that girl singing ' a man's world'. she did not interpret the meaning of the song, but would have put her through anyhow based on potential
