Re-watching Royal Rumble 2003 as my first watch on Netflix.

If I subscribe (likely will at least for WrestleMania) my "first" even will be one of Summer Slam 2002, Summer Slam 98 (usually my go to's when I subbed on the Network then Binge).

And if the RAW's are available - the Jan 4th 99 raw where Mankind won the WWF title.

I watched that around a month ago on Foxtel and it's such a good episode, you'll enjoy the nostalgia rush.

have they uploaded every episode of RAW and SD? my friend said 2022-2024 are complete, but other years are select episodes or about a 15-20 year gap missing.
They would be correct, outside of 2022-24, it is currently only select episodes with weird time gaps.

SmackDown: 1999 (13 of 20 eps), then 37 episodes from 2000-08 (10 from 2000 with 2002 & 2004 the only other years to have more than 3 available).
Nothing available for the moment between 2009 and 2021.

RAW: Nothing between 2002-2021, 97 episodes between 1993 & 2001 (63 of which are from 96-99)

NXT: Complete 2022-24, with NXT Arrival & the 36 Takeovers also available. No individual weekly episodes from its peak years yet.

PPVs: Unsure if anything is missing, but they have a "premium live event" and a "classics" selection. I don't think they have everything available to view on a single page like Foxtel did, but some of the older one-off stuff like Wrestling Classic and Tuesday in Texas is there plus the abysmal December to Dismember. For some reason the In Your House collection isn't included with classics, but you can find it via search.

WWE has also been added as a category, though the page doesn't make you aware that the classics selection (where most titles reside) exists let alone allow you to browse it. It isn't a total loss as you've got upcoming WWE shows at the top of the page, there are subsections for the big 4 PPVs, individual wrestlers and "Attitude Era" and "Ruthless Aggression Era", but their browsing tabs on the category page need work as they aren't in any recognisable order.

+ Special RAW exclusive compilations:
  • best of 2024 (60mins)
  • 5 episodes of "Top 10": World Title (3hrs); Womens Title (143min); Intercontinental (135); Cage (137); Tag Teams (174min)
  • "RAW Classics" hosted by Big E: 20 episodes of a featured wrestler's RAW match compilation ranging in length from 60-140mins.
The 20 are a mix of current talent and legends (with Rock conspicuously missing): Austin; Cody; Cena; Batista; Becky; Belair; Bret Hart; Charlotte; Punk; Angle; Lita; Orton; New Day; Rey; Reigns; Rollins; HBK; Trish; Trips & Taker. No real surprise that Austin, Cena & H have the longest compilations, Rey and the women have shortest excluding Charlotte (who oddly has the 4th longest).

They also offer Superstar Profiles, which is essentially an education device for potential new viewers - 25 current talent with a 2-4min summary of their history in the company and current character, surprisingly Shayna Baszler is included here but no Punk.

WWE content is up on Netflix.

And there is a WWE Collection tab that takes you in to a separate section. 🙌

Set up looks like it's own WWE Network within Netflix.

It has PLE's along with highlighted SuperStar sections.

Similar say what Disney+ has done with the MCU.

Addition the Raw vault etc as mentioned is also there with the old content.

Not quite all of it yet. But way better than what Binge did.

Unbelievably my rewatch is up to 2004, and those Raw's aren't up yet. 🤣.

Really good signs.

Watching Backlash 2002, Hogan is so bad and the generic crap they’ve got as his theme music is even worse.

But gee at the end HHH looks just like the Warrior with blood looking like the face paint and the same dumb ass look and steroid physique.
Yeah but the crowd just eat it up, watched this stretch not long ago. The pops he get is amazing

KOTR 1998 last night. Thankfully there was no censorship on the old logo (don't have Binge or Kayo, so never saw if it was or not on their programming).

The HIAC is something we've all seen plenty of times, but the sheer brutality is always confronting. The way JR described the structure, even before the match; i love his moral outrage. Austin and Kane main event was also vicious; all four of those guys were so incredibly over.

No Way Out 2009 last night. Edge loses the WWE Championship in the first Elimination Chamber of the night, and then takes out Kofi during his entrance and inserts himself into the World Heavyweight Championship EC and wins it to close the show. That mid-late 00s Edge is one of the best heels ever.

I'd also forgotten how insanely over Jeff Hardy was. Unfortunately his demons have gotten the better of him at times 😞

How are people finding the $7 'ads' tier?

Had it for a few months for other stuff, but personally have no issue with it.

YouTube/FTA streaming is far far worse.
