Not sure about Heeney. He's never seemed to be in contention for the captaincy with players like Gulden and Papley preferred in Mills, Parker and Rampes absence so he doesn't strike me as someone who lives and breathes footy.

From the Swans I wouldn't at all be surprised if Gulden went on to coach. Possibly even Rampe or Mills.

Agree, not Heeney. As well as those other names above Blakey also has the makings of a media person or coach. Assured and articulate speaker who knows the game.

Ahh that makes sense now. I presume the fishing show is on YouTube. Or is it a Adelaide Channel 7 type gig?
Perhaps he can replace Adam Cooney on that show which is on after the footy. Whatever that is called. Footy After Dark? Wayne's World?
