Logan is a complete arseh*le, an arrogant self entitled rich kid who works for Daddy, and William is going to marry his sister so he took him to Westworld to mess with him beforehand.

He's not a good guy
Btw. That's interesting. Just reminded me. MiB talks about how his wife killed herself because of who MiB was in WW, always afraid of him. And the daughter blames him for her mom's death. He basically drove his family away.

If william is MiB, then that means Logan's sister killed herself. Would also mean Logan was the only way MiB's family could have possibly found out all the depraved shit MiB did in WW. So there must be true hatred between Logan and William. Dunno how they could be brothers in law in real life AFTER this season initial trip they're taking together. Dunno how they could go back and run a company. If Logan told his sister straight away about how nasty William was, dunno how William could ever forgive him, and STILL run a company with him, still go ahead and MARRY Logan's sister, etc.

Do we even know IF the MiB tortured Delores... i mean it is implied, but never seen only heard her reaction.
But I remember another flash back of him just asking if she remembered him... that got me thinking thw screams may have only been initially and from fear

(I may have also completely missed it and he clearly tortured her)
Clearly the writers want us to think there is some raping going on, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a flashback next episode where MiB pulls out some camomile tea and asks polite questions about finding the maze.

Having said that, he also might have tortured her, which trigger her self-awareness/ consciousness- same way as happened to Maeve.

Cheating on his fiancee with a Robot. Lying. Leaving his friend to be beaten up and tortured by Confederato. Killing an injured and defenceless Confederato while his sidebitch's back is turned. William is a piece of shit, and a whiney little bitch as well "DERP DERP REVEAL YOUR TRUE SELF DERP DERP DERP NOW I UNDERSTAND THE TRUE MAGIC OF THEME PARKS DERP DERP DERP DERP".

Logan's a) not hurting anyone and b) honest.

Can't wait to see how "stuffed" William and Delores are next week. It's gonna be brutal.

Logan is full of shit and a bully, doesn't make William a good person but Logan and he didnt really have a relationship of equals before it went to crap

Logan thinks he is a badass - William is smashing him at his own game.

Is that even a thing?

Isn't it just like using a fleshlight with a wig?

They explored that in Humans. The wifey got very upset when hubby couldn't contain his curiosity about having sex with the robot maid. Reckon they got the dynamics about right.

But it does raise the question of whether some people would opt for a robot partner that would be physically perfect, always ready for sex, do all the jobs round the house and never complain.

Last ep I saw of Humans the husband was trying to cover it up and the robot was helping I think.

Use spoilers!!!

That's not even a question, are you kidding me?

I never watch TV. Saw you guys talking about HUMANS. Checked it out just now on IMDB.

Now THIS sounds like a show that has the same underlying message as Westworld....but.....actually achieves what WW fails to, due to far better characterization, better writing.

Will have to download the series and give it a watch.

I probably watched a good 5 or more hours of that show. It is nothing special. Bit silly actually. Has a very different approach to Westworld. This idea there is an underlying message in Westworld must be in your own head. Westworld explores themes and ask questions. There is no message being sold.
Westworld is a theme park. Humans is robots living in real world with human and the social integration that goes on. Has a silly look about it. Still a reasonable show, not a write off at all, has some decent British actors in it but things about it I could just not buy into the storyline myself. Robot woman trying to adopt son of a divorced man she is in relationship. Social rights of a bot citizen at play. Lame. I am out of here. Others may like this.
I see it from time to time on SBS. Not sure what season it is into but been on tv for some time now.

I'll watch a few episodes obviously and decide. Cheers for your feedback.

As for Westworld, there are multiple underlying messages....constantly being brought up in the show itself. So many messages. And this is why WW kind of fails as a show, because many times people just dont pick up on them, or skip over them too quickly, because they're too focused on trying to figure out what the hell is even going on in the basics of the show, basic plot, story, characters. You have just posted -- there is no underlying message -- proves my point that WW fails at getting those messages across better than they are.

As for Westworld, there are multiple underlying messages going on in my own mind.

EFA :p

You clearly got a lot of thoughts projected on what you are viewing that are not intended messages but nevertheless messages you experience. You are a seeker of messages. That is great. That is what is so good about the art of tv series, movies and even music. There can be so many different experiences from watching or hearing the same thing. If someone expects messages it often seems they will see them for their own human experience. See it in religious people all the time. The old looking for devil messages in music they will find if that is what they expect. The expectation that some have as viewers, that everyone else is having the same experience as a viewer or listener is interesting. Some cling to this as some objective truth of what is being viewed and assume what they experience others must be too.
That in itself I always find fascinating about humans and perception.

As for the show Humans, my gut feel is Humans will be much more to your liking.

It's been fun following this show with everyone, but this week I am on a Westworld sabbatical.

I'll watch Episode 9 and 10 back to back, and will return to brag about all the things I was right about :)

Enjoy!

Posted this before, but there are still people I see here who don't think William is MiB, or that there is only one timeline.
Firstly, multiple timelines is definitely without a doubt already confirmed.
But this video is centered on some good observations/clues why William "is" MiB.

Knife and shirt? Come on. They select from the same options when they arrive at the park.

Wait! Definitive proof they are NOT THE SAME PERSON!

Look at this image.

Look. At. Their. Shirts.

Look. At. Their. Hats.

This mystery has been solved, go no further.

Holly shit, the photo that sent Deloris's father to meltdown was Williams wife.

William went full on sociopath real fast.

Bernard being Arnold could of paid off a bit more.

Jeffery Wright has been amazing as Bernard.

Oh and Delores being the one to knock off Arnold is interesting. I assume it'll touch more on that next week.

Did we just see what Arnold looked like? I'm confused about who's in that old picture of the three of them.

I'm guessing it's Ford, Arnold and the MIB.
