Brock and Gross getting high praise

Not a good sign they can't spell Petruccelle's name correctly...

I'm curious to know what sort of education Petruccelle would offer other players
Might be a Witherden type. Has the smarts but not the ability.
So might be OK in educating but no good at actually doing the thing.

Fair dinkum…just how ****ing badly is the club going at the moment?

Embarrassing enough at the best of times but after the last 24 hours just reconfirms that we’re genuinely in basketcase areas.

we need to calm down. we played last years' premier and two teams who are either looking top 4 or many people had top 4. playing another that is looking top be top 4 and ok Carlton are not doing well, but we all know what they can do.

its been a bloody tough draw.

This. One of the most embarrassing things about the club is some of the piss pants supporters.

Fairly certain Mulldogg was making a joke about with everything going wrong for the club right now, that spelling Petch's name wrong is the worst of it all.

Horsley was asking the boys to keep there width
Petch was playing half forward flank and was told to stay to his side of the ground, so they kept there width
So when the ball was on the other flank he held back and told Mally and the wafl boys to do the same as especially
the wafl boys would drift over to the contest
He was really good directing Horsley was thanking him at 3 quarter time
So by doing that meant you could go long periods of not seeing the ball
But it meant there was always space in the forward line
It was really impressive strategy by Horsley it suited WCE runners and lead to more goals
The forward line looked really dangerous all game

I would like our senior side try something like it

This seems accurate. the entire match report is littered with Horsely talking about positioning and players keeping their width and lengthening the ground etc etc. Also had Petch among the best.

Seems to be a real focal point for horsely.

Was really evident at the Derby that when we were attacking there were no players in the corridor if we wanted to switch lanes. This often meant that we were charging down the wing the same as we did with Simmo and the Dockers were easily able to add pressure and create turnover. Hopefully drilling it into the guys at WAFL level will hold them in good stead when they transition to the higher level.

Horsleys match report had Brock as BOG, how did you see it RE? Was he better than Gross? Sounds like brock for gov should be the easy choice
