Really good to see some of the younger guys get amongst it and it was the best game Miller has played for a long time.

Thought I would add my voice too. Really good win and well deserved. Watching it again on Foxtel atm and I can't believe how far gone they were at half-time and knowing they were going to come back and get the win. Given how close Freo got to Geelong it shows how even the competition is.

Hope it's the first of a few for you guys (but not against the Saints).

P.S. I'm putting Wonnaemirri (sp?) into the starting 22 of my supercoach team. He was sensational!

Went today and it was an awesome match.

Became a dees supporter for an hour or so and it was so good to see em come back from 50+ down.

There was only 19000 there but gee it sounded 45000 crowd towards the end.

It was great to listen to the guys sing the theme song after the win and although I reckon you've got the best theme song, why is Melbourne's the only song without the name of their side in it?

Looks like Freo are always the whipping boy for sides having a bad year ala Fitzroy 1996. Unfortunately for us though, no side will ever be as bad as we were in that year and Melbourne has got a great future with the likes of W'marri et al.

you are the true supporters!
Unless your family are trapped in a car wreck
there's basically never any excuse to leave your team
no matter what.
We carry on and on about Anzac Spirit and 'sticking it out'
etc etc but there's still those supporters who take off early

When Pavlich kicked those 2 goals in quick succession, I thought that is was over - the Dees were about to fold. The team would have last week.

The fact that they kept fighting speaks volumes - the players had had enough.

It shows that a team with heart will beat a team with talent.
