If she is David Roden's sister, why are there names spelled differently? Is her husband's name Roden? That would be some coincidence, a Rodan marrying a Roden.

They misspelled David Rodans last name when he immigrated to Australia and never changed it. His sisters name is correct spelling. Thanks Maggie5
 
Reminds me of Oprah Winfrey. They screwed up the spelling of Orpah but just went with it. Near enough's good enough, I guess!

Plus the other less accidental reasons that this can happen in some cultures. In some Slavic countries you could have a surname ending in "ovski" and the female version will be "ovska". And so on.
