Blame the umpire. Imagine paying a free like that in a tight game with 2 minutes left. There was no head contact, so it can only be assumed that they guessed and cost Essendon a chance to win - albeit a small one.

Yep. It's all the hula hoops and Pac Man video games that's to blame for the current state of the game. Back in my day - we were called the Greatest Generation for a reason - we never used to dive like these Baby Boomer whippersnappers. It's their bloody Silent Generation parents I tell ya.
