5. Chris Judd - awesome display once again from Juddy

4. Daniel Kerr - Held onto his marks and was quite influential, played his guts out as was evident with the cramp he was getting in the last quarter.

3. Daniel Chick - cery impressive on voss until he went down in the third with the corky on his thigh.

2. Trent Caroll - A commendable performance today in what was actually a quite polished defensive perfomrance by our backmen under intense pressure, amazing that we won with only 35 inside 50's compared to 59.

1. Quinten Lynch - Brown statred showing his presence in the second half, but all in all Lynch was quite honest and had a cool head in defence, just needs to work on his disposal for the future.

Gotta give a honorable mention to Waters for his nice second quarter as well.

5. Judd- Simply brilliant
4. kerr- Sloppy at times but showed the mongrel in him. Loved it.
3. Chick- great game on Voss. Locked him up great!
2. Embley- won us the game in the last quarter with some vital possesions
1. Wirrapunda- Great run out of defence and did some good spoils

Honourable Mentions-
McDougall
Staker
Waters
Braun
Sampi and
Lynch

5 - Kerr : Simply inspirational, throwing himself around EVERYWHERE and running hard all day. Spent so much he couldnt finish it off.
4 - Judd : Run Run Run, hes a machine, hes the package, another great game for us.
3 - Seaby : Biased? probably, but i was SUPER impressed with him, was a link man, took some great strong grabs and was great in the ruck. Good debut young man
2 - Lynch : While Brown did some good things he certaintly wasn't a dominate figure and Lynch did some very good things, rebounded well and had a good, cool calm head. Any number of defenders could get a vote here, they really worked hard.
1 - Embley : Waters just misses out to embers who was very good today. Just oozes confidence and marks well.

Also Wirra, Sampi, Jones, Mc Dougall and in particular Staker and Chicky unfortunate to not get votes.

5: Judd - The best :) great 4 quater effort... Seems to be able to break tags now..

4: Kerr - How brave is this kid?

3: Embley - Great game

2: Staker - Great hands above his head

1: Chick - Should be played in defence...

Bad luck to braun who I thought was awesome on akker and Mc Dougall who was leading very well...

A very tough game to give votes, and I haven't seen the replay yet but from my live opinion

5. Judd - clearly BOG
4. Carroll - possibly his best ever game
3. Kerr - ran his guts out - very aggressive at the footy
2. McDougall - this kid is gonna be a star, especially when he works as hard as he did today
1. Staker - Yes, we have found a CHF

Exremeley unlucky
Chick - if he played the last he would have got higher on this list. Absolutley killed Voss.

Just plain unlucky
Lynch - did really well on Brown
Embley - great last quarter

Here goes..

5. Judd - Can't argue with 30 touches, always after the footy.

4. Kerr - Great rough as guts stuff, good to see him returning to his 2002 style and form.

3. Chick - Did the job on the games best player.

2. Staker - Was happy with his work around the ground, took some great marks.

1. Carroll - Good on him.

Plenty of other good contributors, Doogs looked good most of the time up forward but his kicking let him down a bit, Lynch worked very hard, but was caught behind Brown at times. Embley took his time to get into the game but was good when he got the pill.

Great stuff all round, some iffy decisions here and there but beating Brissie (no matter who they are without) is always tough.

5. Judd - outstanding effort all game.
4. Carroll - personal bias aside, best defender on the park today. Definitely his best game at West Coast.
3. Kerr - see Judd.
2. Chick - stopped Voss until he had to go off
1. Waters - excelled down back with Carroll and Lynch in only his second game.

Unlucky:
Lynch - good job on Brown, perhaps was a bit slow at times.
Staker - would have got votes but for some sloppy disposal.
Embley - started too slow for votes, came home well.
Seaby - excellent debut.
Morrison - thought he did well all day

The most impressive thing was that we had three good defenders in Carroll, Lynch and Waters, freeing up Wirrpunda for his natural run. If we can keep that sort of defensive effort going we will be very hard to beat.

5. Kerr- Huge heart. Got in tough, put his body on the line every time the ball was near him and ran till he dropped. Looks like he'd happily die for the team.
4. Judd. Superb, lethal, quantity AND quality. The Rolls Royce to Kerr's Humvee.
3. Carroll- Very likely the best game of his career. Saved our asses innumerable times.
2. Embley- Great game, superb all over the ground.
1. Chick - Owned the best player in the competition whilst he was on the field. Great stuff.

Very hard game to give votes for. Staker, McDougall, Fletcher, Waters, Lynch and Seaby were deserving.

5. Judd - Just a sensational game. You little ripper
4. Kerr - Balls of steel this bloke. Just fought hard all day
3. Chick - Brilliant in shutting down Voss. Pity that he had to come off in the 3rd through injury
2. Carroll - Best game for the club. Showed quite a bit of poise and defended stoutly. Stoked with his game
1. Embley - Worked hard for most of the game and was great in the last quarter

Unlucky: Lynch, McDougall, Staker, Waters, Seaby, Fletcher
Man this was a hard game for votes!!!

Marvellous game and the ultimate team win, so votes are hard:

5. Kerr - attempted to single-handedly win the game for the eagles by diving head-first into all packs
4. Judd - appears to be too good a player for this level of football, should play for Earth against other planets
3. Carroll - one mistake all day, showed enormous character after the battering by supporters on a certain forum
2. Lynch - kept Brown under control for most of the day and mopped up in defence. His long kicks are a huge asset to this defence
1. Embley - slow start but became a critical player with his run, marks, possessions and goals

Unlucky
Cox and Seaby sharing the big men duties - I like the resting ruckman in the square approach at the start of the 3rd quarter - it'll work if we win the midfield (which we didn't yesterday, but usually will)
Chick - great goal and beat Voss (who was clearly not fit to play, I've never seen him make such skill errors)
Fletcher - interestingly spent a lot of time out of the middle, decent number of possessions & tackles

Staker - some excellent leading and marking across HF
Morrison - poor early, good last quarter
Sampi, Braun and Chambers - did some good things some times
McDougall - led well, needs more confidence when kicking for goal - it'll come I think based on yesterday
Waters had a good quarter and I like his toughness

Matera scored 3 goals, but didn't have a good game by his high standards
Wirra looked sluggish early, but was an important mopper-upper by the end

Great desperate defence all round. 4 heartstoppers in 4 rounds.

5. Judd - see VOR comments. Brisbane tried to physically punish him - but Juddy punished them with his sublime skills

4. Kerr - magnificent effort. Beat the Brownlow Medallist Black. And seemed to really enjoy doing it :)

3. Chick - soundly beat the Best Player in the Land Voss. Seems to relish the big job on the big star

2. Doogs - proved he will be a star. Beat Michael on the day

1. Staker - another one who will be a star. "Mitchell " took some great marks and ran all over the forward line.

Mentions to : everyone else :D

5 Judd
4 Embley
3 Chick
2 Fletcher
1 Kerr

Just Missed Out
Matera
Carroll
Braun
Wirrupunda
